Posting this as a timeline for myself, though more than welcome to follow along... started my seeds on the 6th of jan. Some in bags with paper towels, others were directly into soil. Planted a few more into solo cups and covered it with a ziplock (wish i would have done it this way to begin with. My germination rate this method was around 90%... the pictures are of some of the plants. Some have 4days of growth of the true leaves. Others have 1 or 2 days worth of true leaf growth... Others have no growth yet because they just popped a few days ago.. anyhow.... here they are. Dont know how to post pictures so here are the links.

There should be a drop down menu for links, just choose and then copy the 'bb code link', then paste here. Should look like this,

So you planted the seed in the solo cup, and then placed the cup in a ziplock bag? Interesting, what is the benefit of that? I am waiting on some seeds to come any day now and want to get them started.  I have always known about the seeds in a damp paper towel, but wonder if it really makes a difference from doing that to just putting it right into a solo cup to start with.

Ill snap a pic of it and post it here in a minute. Idk what the difference is but my scorpion an my hungarian wax peppers both popped like crazy. I just put some of my reapers and moruga in two days ago because my germ rates were bad the other ways i did it. But could just be me.

Some of your close ups are fantastic.
Thanks, i will be taking some more pics tomorrow. Just transplanted a few into big pots and put them in the greenhouse. So we will see what those look like tomorrow and some others as well
