I had a bad shipping experience with some pepper plants I purchased here from the forum.
No worries I got a refund and tried to save a few plants from the damaged shipment.
I finally get a couple plants almost back to health and now some type of pest/parasiteĀ
is attacking the stems and new growth leaves. I raised tropical fish for well over 20 years
and I'm very good at identifying most things but this one has me baffled. The bugs are
very small, definitely NOT aphids, and they are also not typical spider mites because they
are very dark black. Just wondering if anybody here has an idea of what they could be?Ā
The box I received came from Georgia so not sure if that was where these originated from
but I would sure like to ID them so I can eliminate them with the most suitable procedure.
I'll try to get a photo if possible but I've basically ruled out all the common pests so atĀ
this point I have no clue. Whatever they are they definitely are damaging the plant quickly.
