Tiny bumps on peppers

I'ver noticed some tiny bumps on some od my peppers and can only describe them as volcanos the size of a pin head. When there are a few on a pepper it almost feels prickly. I heard somewhere something about pepper parasites. Is there such a thing, if so are these them.

What is the variety?

99% of peppers are smooth skinned (even the wrinkly ones).

The few that come to mind that aren't smooth, are the 7 pot, scorpion, naga.

Is this on more than one plant? More than one type?

Mostly on the lemon drops but some on my Naga's and others. Tried my best to get a shot. Is there such a thing as pepper parasites?

chililover,

I'm still looking for the site that describes pepper problems.

I remember reading about pepper weevils or mites or something similar that leaves small pinhead holes in peppers when they lay eggs.

I'll post if I find it.

Thanks. I thought I read somewhere aboud parasites. Ever hear of that?

Good info with that link but didn't see anything on this. There not holes, so nothing would be insinde the pepper. There very pointy bumps and almost sharp. I was worried about somthing being in the skin of the pepper just below the surface. Are you sure this is normal for lemon drops?
