Tips for potted strawberries?

How cold does your winter get? We had multiple light frosts in the mid 20's here in FL last year and all of my soil strawberrries survived. I would suggest a 5 gallon pouch. You can put some of them on top, and then cut several Xs in the sides of the pouch and plant some strawberries in the sides. That is what i have done for potted plants. I dont seem to get runners on my potted strawberries. Not sure why? maybe limited space?
 
Atleast mine in Sweden dont die under the winter and we have around -20c over here for a few months aka no need to take them in... if its normal strawberries.
