Here is my two cents.........We made salsa last year and told the kids to try a little on a chip keep in they are 4 and 5. My 5 year old loved it my 4 year old doesn't like hot things yet. We kept milk around and we didn't go crazy like habs in the salsa just some :super chilies" from the local farmers market.

When I have son or daughter I plan to introduce them into peppers gradually it'd be great to have a son p daughter io peppers like me

Hah! Yeah but it's easier to give the heimlich than shove a tube down their throat to provide an airway regardless of swelling.
