We just had a huge rain, and the medium / larger size tomatoes started to crack. All the cherries weren't affected though. Gotta pick them and use them up quickly before bugs get them or they spoil.
too much water after too little. Adding organic matter to the soil and a good layer of mulch 2-3" at least 12" from drip line can help stabilize moisture levels. Honestly Id be amazed if there was anyone who didnt have some cracking in a season.
