Tomatos and epsom query

Since tomatos and peppers are both from the nightshade family, would spritzing tomatoes with epsom salts be benificial just like peppers?

from what I've read the occassional spritzing of epsom salts does help tomatoes a great deal.

specially when the leaves are turning yellow, that either indicates lack of magnesium or lack of calcium in the soil.

so if it's calcium, I even use powdered milk diluted down pretty low and pour it on the soil.

hope this helps.

I only do this when the plants get a bit yellow.

Goggle epsomsaltcouncil.org/garden_usage_tips.htm should get you all kind of information on epsom salt in the garden

I mist mine tomatoes but not as often as I mist my peppers, I was told a long time ago that tomatoes really don't like their leaves wet, now this could just be due to certain tomatoes being prone to mold/fungus/leaf rot.
Today as I look at my tomato plants I am noticing a slight leaf curl underwards versus curling upward, maybe this is a result of over misting....... I wasn't completely true to my word.... I misted the tomatoes two days in a row.

my Julien tomato just said they no longer wish me to mist them with epsom salts; they said it by the browning of the leaves, tumblers, patio, lemon boy, sweet 100 didn't mind at all.
