Transplant shock

On aeroponics plants I've never had transplant shock when planting out. Remove the plant from basket, plant it in soil.

I always used to transplant without disturbing the roots and the plants always seemed to wilt for a few days then bounce back. This year I will fluff the roots when I plant. I guess I see if they respond differently.

Is purple a flavor? I think it IS! Purple things don't taste like grape...they taste purple. Interesting.

I couldn’t wait to get some peppers in the ground, so I found some scotch bonnets and jalapeño plants. The weather was cool and cloudy, kinda rainy. I fluffed the roots when I planted them. This morning they were still standing good, not droopy.

I didn't notice much if any shock last year. A few seedlings from CCN but not all. My own seedlings i gave some homemade kelp "juice" and they thrived almost immediately after up potting.

Good timing, I'm getting ready to plant out and my peppers are very root bound. I'll try fluffing!
