hydroponic Trinidad Scorpion Butch T Hydroponic

that was on ebay with free delivery! seemed like a really good deal but didn't actually research prices before I bought it.

I'm in Western Australia

not againste the rules I hope. but its even cheaper now.
this is just the flower but there is another one of the same for the grow part of it.

I feel like I am butting in here because I don't do "hydroponics", but I will say that most of the Trinidad varieties will grow huge...a lot bigger than any other variety I have grown...well over 7' tall if given the right treatment...

I hear canna is very good but for that price I can't justify it. I've also heard very very good things about dutch master gold but that is also way too expensive. Considering that this is just a hobby and I'm not growing weed to sell its not worth it.
Dutch master advance is doing a great job and I can't really imagine more growth being possible on that scorpion of mine, it couldn't possibly get any bushier.
This Aji Limon is only 5 weeks old and is a foot tall. .....edit! took that photo a couple of days ago and its already a couple of inches taller. I swear I could see this thing growing if I sat and watched it long enough.

That's pretty amazing, like having your own tree with peppers on it!

My plant is not getting enough light and it's still pretty tall. It's nothing compared to 7 feet like you mentioned hehe

Thought I would post a short video of the plant, if anybody is interested. It's not growing in perfect conditions, too little light and too crowded.

It's more like 4' 8", not as tall as my previous guess. Measured it good this time :)

What a beautiful plant nice and big.

The only reason I'm using canna is because I'm growing to sell, and use myself. So far have been very happy with the results I'm getting concidering the cost. But as you could imagine just want it to be big enough to start growing some chilli so would be intresting to see how much longer I've got to go

if thats the case, spend the money! if it was doing it that way i would be using eithe canna or dutch master gold. for just chilies I"m happy with dutch master advance. I'm not producing mind altering stuff so I dont think quality and quantity and mixture of micro nutrients is going to make a mind blowing difference to a chili and if it does would I even notice? but with weed and trying to increase potency....different story

there are two videos on youtube I posted...one is when the plants had be in the ground three months and one was when the plants had been in the ground 5 months..they are well over 7 feet tall and it looks like I am walking through a jungle....

That's so crazy how many plants in total do you have. How much chilli did it all produce
 
Hay mate, good catching up with you the other day!!! Guess u know who I am. When you come to Adelaide give me a call and I'll show u my setup. I tried to send u a clone with Adam but I was too busy. Will try and drop one off to give Peter. I think with your weather the aquaponics and rainbow trout might work well. I'm going in town tomorrow for some testing of your sauce. Yeah it was good catching up with you to.

I think I'm going to have to start investing in a nice big green house and start getting it going.

My partner is going down to Adelaide next weekend so if you want I can send a plant down with her for you?
 
Yeah u need one for sure..... I got mine on eBay cheap for what it is. Or just make it yourself. I've got a temp one out the back I made. I forgot tell u about the temperature monitor I've got that attaches on the network. It has high and lows which can trigger relays. U can also monitor it remotely on your iPhone. I use it for
My tank but would work with your hydroponics.
 
Where did you get the monitor? How much did it cost? I was looking at one but it was $5000 but came with a tablet and all the software as well as automatic dispensers for ph up and down and the nutrients, controlled co2, heating and cooling and the humidity
 
Ahhh $5k nah. Ud want to be pretty serious. This was about $170. This is purely for temperature control. You can monitor 4 inputs. So I check the fish water and the ambient temperature. He can also email you alerts. I'm just changing Internet providers so I'll give u the link when I set it back up. I've also got a ip camera I can log into all via the iPhone. What was the chilli flakes you gave me. I'm after some scorpion seeds if u have any. I'll give you some fresh ghosts or even fresh pods if u like.
 
The flakes were naga's. How many scorpion seeds you after I think I have about 150 seeds left till my tent starts producing pods.

How did you go trying the other sauces?
 
great looking plants guys! i have a 7 pot and bell pepper in DWC and about to add anothe plant, mine are all grown outdoors and 1 is a monster!
this was after loosing 2 3' branches moving it from the apt to the house

some kind of tiny bug damaged some leaves, I have have some deformed and holy leaves, but its still easy to see the difference between hydroponic and soil scorpions.
