Trio of Peppers

I am new to making Hot Sauces but I love it. Its a new found passion. 40 years to finally find somehting that I love doing. lol.

Anyway I wanted to make a trio hot sauce. What 3 peppers would be the best mixture for this ultimate hot sauce?

Beers Up!

^ Availability is key if you don't grow your own.

Those three are a nice choice. I'd swap Jalapenos for Serranos for a bit more flavor. Also readily available at the store!

I've tried a blends of habanero, serrano, and using crushed red pepper seeds that you find in the supermarket. I found it's blazing hot but if you or someone you know likes those heat levels then go for it.

Hope I can be of some help.

If you want something superhot with great flavor, try serrano, fatalii and bhut jolokia. Or, substitute a 7-pot or Trinidad Scorpion for the Bhut Jolokia. Kind of a hot, hotter, hottest sauce. I would use some fruit with them to temper the heat just a bit. I made a plum sauce a while back with fatalii and bhuts and it turned out great.
