Trippaul Threat (PdN x BMJ) Community Grow

This is a dedicated grow log for Tristen's awesome cross, which I
have been growing out since 2014.  I'll start with a bit of history and
some photos documenting what's happened so far.

In January of 2014, Tristen (Trippa) sent me a little care package of seeds.
In the package were two generations of a cross he had made, which he just
called 'Mystery Cross, F1' and 'Mystery Cross, F2'.

Here's Trippa's Mystery Cross seedlings in February of 2014:

Both generations showing the purple foliage characteristic since the beginning.

Up close look at Trippa's Mystery Crosses, F1 and F2.  Both culled to a single
plant after the photo taken, so I only had one plant of each generation:

A belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all!

I've been doing life stuff ;)

However, I have some really nice purples in the grow room. Pics will come...I've been slacking big time all a round. So far the whites are not liking me here :shh:

Good luck to all this up and coming season!

Thanks, Scott, same to you and your family,
Good to see you in the glogosphere, buddy!
Glad to hear you have some purple/violet going.
Sounds like you are having the same luck with
the white as I did.

Righteous, Scott! Those are nice looking purples, alright.
Cannot wait to see them as mammoth plants loaded with
pods

I am bummed about about that, never had that
reported in all these seasons. Rats. Which was
it, violet or white?

Oh well, good luck with the ones that made it!

F5 plants have been moved in with the F7 for
the time being. Will grow in here for another
week or so, close to the six-week mark, then
into the #2 nursery pots.

It happens brotha, after closer inspection it was at least 5 that survived from the white. Maybe 1-2 violets got cracked. Im confident that I will get multiples to germ so no worries. Oh and one of the broken ones flew into my mouth and had decent kick so looking forward to these.

Today I planted my PDNxBMJ F6 purple and white seeds! :)

As I read here that they are hard to germinate, I decided to plant 9 seeds of each instead of the usual 4. I didn't give the seeds any special treatment, just fill pot with soil, make soil moist, put the seeds in, put pots in heated propagator at a temperature of about 25°C/77°F which is I believe lower than what most people use. But it has always worked for me :D

So all I can do now is be impatient!

That's good news.  Sending lots of good vibes
your way for great germination success.

Do what works, I always say, Marc. Here's to lots
of seeds germinating, brother. The more the merrier   :woohoo:

Go, EU!

For clarification, on your seed packs, I'f Im sprouting a seed labeled F7, is the plant that will result also F7 and you've already accounted for it via the labeling, or am I effectively growing the F8 once sprouted?

Before one can be three, be two, before be five be four.....uh, right?

Without going back through the thread, Paul sent me F7 seeds as well, and as I understood, they came from F6 pods.....

@GPR - That's the spirit!

Looking back through the thread, I realize I forgot to
add Guru's name to the F7 grower list    My apologies,
Rich, I can't wait to see what your whole earth grow
style can do for Tristen's cross.

Also forgot to mention I'm germinating some of Bhuter's
F7 isolated seed in the rock wool cubes. Hoping it is more
viable than mine. Will keep posted...

I have seeds I saved out of a bulbous pod I will probably sprout too. It was the only pod that looked like that so it will probably produce regular shaped pods though? Idk.
