tsurrie's 2022 glog

Hey there. I'm just posting to let you know I'm still kicking, but with an even smaller grow.
Only nine pots this season, three of them are habanero (two Calita Red's and Red Savina - I think)
I got them in local nursery after all my seedlings stopped growing suddenly
I only managed to grow my own tomato plants this season and some cucumbers - will probably add the photos from the garden later this month, after some weeding :P

Red Savina? and Calita Red - looks like they'll grow some pods for me

the lineup - three on the right are habaneros

this one is annum and is a yellow variant of Chili As - good for pickling but reds are tastier

Good to see you posting @tsurrie. You may only have nine pots, but the plants look great! Bunches of pods are just around the corner for you.

Hey, Uros! Glad to see you on the board,
my friend. Sometimes I wish I only had
nine plants to take care of!

 Here's to a good season for you!

@tsurrie - Your balcony grow looking great, Uros!

Nice. Selection of habanero. Some look like JA Reds,
others like Caribbeans. I have found the reds to be
quite hot, at least the JA Reds I have grown.

Keep up the good work, my friend!

Today's haul... judging by the plants there will be another one like this soon.

The ones on the left are Calita Red's and are very similar to the JA Reds. The ones on the right are Red Savina's. Both from the nursery and I'll save some seeds for next season. Both tasty, decent red habaneros with a strong punch.

Thank you Paul.

A little update on the garden - plenty of tomatoes to eat and process into sauce. Also managed to grow one middle sized watermelon and it was good. Wife is cooking Plum (blue) jam so we're slowly making stash for the winter :)

Red Savina's keeps em ripening, but I guess this will stop now because of the colder temps we're getting since massive raining last week

Round II.

Savinas on the picture are a little different from Calitas, which are more like classic red habaneros, similar aroma with maybe a little more kick

Your Red Savinas look great. Mine are just
beginning to ripen, but they look just like yours.
It's a real classic, alright.
