Turkey day side dishes with heat

What's your favorite side dish? This Thanksgiving I'm working on Heating up the family meals, they just have gotten boring. Need your input . So far making fried jerk turkey with all spice cranberry sauce.

I make Chicken with peppers and celery salt all the time---I guess I could make Turkey with Pepper stuffing as well

That's something I plan on doing this year as well since I have so many peppers! One thing I like doing is roasting some diced sweet potatoes/yams w/some olive oil, chopped garlic, diced red onion, kosher salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper. Then finishing it off w/some apricot or peach jam mixed in and a little butter at the end,can even add some fresh chopped rosemary to the mix as well! It's a great combo that can be altered to your own preferences by adding or subtracting what you like!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
