An oddity for me, as I have never seen or heard of it before.
 
The seed is from the paquillo pepper.
 
Since I don't plant multiples, and hence don't cull or separate.
I would wait till second set of true leaves before attempting to separate these into their own pot?

Ive had it happen a few times in the past couple years.  I tend to leave them be since they are twins after all, why separate?

Good enough answer for me, so be it. 
Just need to get several pods from them anyway to taste and for seed stock, don't need trees.

Plus if one pollinates another you'll get female…..
