seeds Two different plants from same seeds. MYSTERY PLANT??

peppers.png

So I bought some pepper seeds off eBay. First year growing peppers so Im learning from my mistakes. But honestly, the seeds are pretty legit. I bought some filius blue pepper seeds because I liked the colors and thought it might be interesting to mix them into some sauces and to put around the front of my house.

As you can see from the picture, these plants look different. Im excited to see what kind of pepper comes off the mystery plant (no the right). No signs of peppers on the mystery plant yet, but the filius blue plant (on the left) is already producing a little bit. I also have a bunch of other fillies blue and none of them have as big of leaves as my mystery plant. It def stands out from the rest.

Anyone ever get mystery plants?

eBay seeds are like a box of choklits... you never know what yur gonna get.

Let it grow.

When it produces pods, post pics.

I have never grown it, so googled some pictures.  Now I want to.  Thing is, the photos seem to show plants that produce pods almost right out of the ground.  If this is really how the thing grows, I have gotta grow it next season.

My guess would be that the one(s) in the photos were just rootbound or recently transplanted or something like that. I have an aji dulce producing pods at that size in a solo cup.

Ya know, I never put that together.  Sometimes plants will pod up before I get them transplanted.  Then once planted, they stop and go back to growing vegatativley.  Root bound triggers flowering.  Why didnt I figure that out?  Thank you.

I'm definitely no expert considering this is my second year growing. I just noticed the local nursery plants still in small 6 pack cells with roots growing out of the bottom and flowers growing out of the top. I'm also assuming that's why my other aji dulce is so much bigger, but with flowers still falling (which I'd prefer because it's still not close to full size). It may just be coincidence but it seems consistent.
