has anybody herd of a black widow pepper a friend was telling me about it he said it was ungodly hot i'm just wondering if he is just making it up he said you can only get it in mexico

Sounds made up to me... Remember they speak Spanish in Mexico, so they probably wouldn't have a chile called "Black Widow".

If you're after insanely hot chiles, there are many available.
