Unidentified Pepper?

Hi guys
saw this in a friends garden he said its a pepper.........I don't agree
no heat (seeds similar to pepper seeds) no taste and almost tomato like inside
the birds love them but i don't think its really edible .......any idea what it might be?

I concur with your assessment of the plant not being a Capsicum. The plant resembles this Solanum pseudocapsicum photo.
