Using aerated fish poop

I see a lot of people aerating fish poop in a bucket. What does this benefit instead of just mixing the fish poop in a bucket and applying to plants? Do you add more things to it like calcium or bone meal?

Yes it will create a lot of bacteria, protozoa and larger fungi
Add some rock dust to give them something to grip onto

If you use a lot of inorganic fertilisers it will kill this life you're creating

Yep like Powelly said. Gets the microbes going which in turn breaks everything down making the nutrients available for the plants to take up.
