I'm guessing that the answer to my question is "it depends" but I'll ask anyways. What type of variance can one expect from pepper to pepper and plant to plant (of the same strain) as far as heat?

Take the Butch T for instance. How rare is it for a pepper of that variety to test in at 1.4M? What's average for the strain? What would be a reasonable guess as to the standard deviation for this type of pepper?

Any general info on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
