seeds Viable seed question

I saved some fresh pepper(7 pot brain strain, 7 pots, ghost, yellow ghost, reaper, and scotch bonnets to dehydrate and save seeds. Made the mistake and dehydrated on to high of temp and I read that this kills the seed. I still have a bunch of 7 pots that I didn't put in the freezer or dehydrate so at least I can still grow those. The question I have is are the peppers I froze still able to give me viable seeds? Should I cut seeds out and do germination test or am I wasting my time?

My guess is the frozen ones faired better than the dehydrator. Do a germ test with damp paper towel in a baggies on a heat pad @85F

Hey, 15 minutes of your time could result in some beautiful plants and hopefully new pods. Cheap investment if you ask me. Good luck!
