I found an egg on my best TS bush the other day. After I killed some ladybug eggs awhile back(I mistook them for moth eggs) I decided not to kill this one. It was about 1-2mm in diameter and a greenish blue color. Several days went buy and the paranoia set in, so I placed the leaf and egg in a baby food jar. the next day this pops out!
Yep thats a baby Tomato Horn Worm!!!!!! I found the scat from at least 2 more on my plants, I also witnessed a Paper Wasp hunting them. I saw the wasp check the scat and start searching the stems and leaves, that was really cool. To bad I didn't get to witness it finding a worm...
