Virus?

I remember seeing another thread where some one had leaves like this but i can't find it now. Does this look like a virus or a pest of some sort? They are on my fiance's sweet banana peppers. Should i scrap the plants? Are they contagious? Will they spread to my beautiful chinenses??

I don't know wtf that is but i would be moving it far away from any plants that you love dearly.

as long as you don't get it on your sweet banana :hell:

I have seen this before and can not remember what it is...if you look at the pattern of the "stuff", it is all close to the veins of the leaf, which, IMO indicates it comes from the water/soil and is brought into the plants plumbing by the roots...this is a wild ass guess...

was doing a bit of googlin' and came up with this...fairly close but different patterns

and here is a pic library of bacterial canker...

Pepperfreak had the same problem, if I remember correctly, and had it diagnosed by Ohio extension folks. Paul? Does this look like your plants did, or do you still have pictures?

OH...That was me, last year....

That is caused by over watering. According to the Ohio State University, that is the plants normal reaction to over watering and shouldn't effect the plant's growth. In my case I didn't notice any adverse effects from it and the plants all grew out of it and produced well.

Here are a few of my past posts that my be helpful to you.

With lots of pictures of my affected plants.
