PJ, you were my second choice and it was real damn close. The sauce had nothing to do with it. Like you, I'm somewhat of a pizza purist too - the less toppings the better. Its all about the crust - sauce and cheese and other stuff are just flavor enhancers and should not be overdone. Well done!

I know its easy, just was impatient to make some . Here is a pic a pizza from 2008 using a home made pizza sauce from italian san marzano DOP tomatoes and fresh mozzarella ball
