Waiting for the Po Po... why?

Why am I waiting on the police?  Cause city folk are frigging idiots.  Wife and daughter start screaming and chasing dogs off the property.  Ducks flying into the air.  Some idiot and his teen at our back fence line firing over our property at our ducks.  So I slowly emptied a magazine of .45 into the ground.
 
No officer, I did not fire at anyone.  I simply used my weapon as a signaling device figuring that although they are stupid, the would have to know ducks do not fire weapons.  I figured that since the hunters did not see the four board fence, barn or home they must be blind.  So I used noise to alert them to the fact that they were hunting too close to human habitation to comply with law and common sense.

Seriously, if I still kept goat these idiots would hunt them in my back yard thinking they were deer.
 
In California the legal distance is 150 yards from a home or habitable dwelling. And obviously, shooting over a fence is a big no no because even if you did down an animal that would entail trespassing to retrieve it. The rule of thumb is you cant hunt it if its Stated (no trespassing sign), Gated (private property), or Irrigated (farmland aka also private property). Just dont get in trouble. I'm sure things are a little different in your neck of the woods but in my parts, cops hate guns. I hang out in the garage alot and always have a gun nearby. A cop came to my house to investigate a complaint in the atea that was unrelated to me and commenced to hand cuff me and put me in his car so he could secure my firearm. He let me go with no problem but guns make cops nervous. Even if you are on your property. Put the gun away before they arrive. Lol

You are right.  I know and I shouldnt do it.  But it is like this, they move to a rural area then they get stuck behind a hay wagon and lay on their horn.  Other people are all up in arms about Muslims not assimilating to US culture.  Intsead, I am pissed about the urbanites migrating into rural areas and making an ass of themselves.  Guess I am a bigot but dont see it ending till they stop laying on their horns when behind a hay wagon or shooting at anything not orange.

i hope you stay calm and realize that things may not be as they seem right now, and even if they are...
other people may just see a crazed man on drugs with a gun :mope: 
so unfair, it sucks!  Etc. 
 
It really sucks how some things can seem much more dramatic than they are sometimes, especially while on Oxy 
one of the many reasons i forced myself to quit even though i was being prescribed quite a bit 
no judgement here, if you wanna talk, PM me 
we have both discussed our disabilities in chat before it was taken away

I think I might love you man.  On a serious note, it is kind of like being angry at hunters who shoot at anything that moves without respect to target or back stop.  I shouldnt say hunters, I should say stupid hunters.  A friend had a cow shot during hunting season last year.  How the heck does someone mistake a cow for a deer?
 
It’s not cool to shoot over somebody’s property at game,especially without permission. It doesn’t matter if you’re city folk or country folk. I wouldn’t call the violators ,hunters ;either.

A bow hunter nearby recently bagged a...Labrador. That's some pretty hair-trigger response to (in my thinking) an animal that looks nothing like a deer.

Nobody called  I just figured they would, which would have been funny because there is nothing illegal about shooting into my own ground, but it is illegal for someone elses dogs to enter my property, to hunt within 300 yards of a home, to fire over my property, to fire over  street, to hunt without orange, and so on.

What happened to those idiots?  They left very fast.  Now keep in mind, while they were shooting my daughter and wife were screaming at them and running their dogs off our land.  That did not cause them to stop or even stop firing over my daughters head.  Oh but now someone else has a gun, well that is scary. 

They really need to learn the culture down here.  You just dont do stuff like this.  People take it seriously.

We once had someone shoot a cow because they mistook it for a deer. And no it was not a brown or tan cow. It was black & white spotted.
