Walchit's Glog 2018

Well started germination yesterday, got a little carried away.

I'm too lazy to type out my list for you guys so here are some pics.

Sprouting these from Justin/whitehotpeppers

And these from the auction of labeled pods from Garth/texashotpeppers

Then there are these from trades and seed trains

I may have officially lost my mind! Thanks for stopping by.

Oh yeah, I picked some schwartzbeeren! The plants got attacked by some kind of bug, sprayed with neem oil and castil soap and they seem to be doing better.

And my xalapas pod got this weird soft spot... Sunburn?

And this swiss chocolate started growing double growth or something on one stem instead of forking.

And Ed, those didn't rot out before your season ended? Even some of the bigger pieces of hardwood I used were getting pretty soft when I pulled them last year.
I thought about buying re-bar cause it would last a lot of seasons. But if I round up enough wood I can just wait till next year
They held up pretty good. I replaced a couple of them as the season went on but I couldn't beat the price so it worked out well.

I use these fiberglass ones from Tractor Supply, some of mine are 10 years old and look as good as the new ones.

Damn how many of those fiberglass ones do you get for 1.50? I seen some fiberglass posts at southerlands but they were 3 bucks a piece

I believe that price is for one post, they usually are in bundles of ten. I really like them, I probably have about 200 of them.

Yeah I just went and looked... They are definitely 1.49 a piece. Which is the best price for something long lasting for sure. I just need about 300 of them and I'm not trying to spend that right now

Looking superb, Andy! I didn't know there was a peach Devil's Tongue. If it's anything like the peach Fatalii from Judy, it'll kill your throat. Lol. Great job! You're definitely working your arse off!

I've actually not been doing much lately. It even rained really good. I've been staking up a few plants here and there.

I do need to mow and take care of these weeds that I let get 6 foot tall. But that's not pepper related lol
