I finally got my grow box v2 to the stage where i can install stuff so i did.
I have a pretty good amount of room here. Once i am done germinating everything i will have more space to install the hydro setup. By then i should also have a plant to put in the hydro setup.
Here are the lights/fan I have 4x 24w 5000k CFL's, 1 random low watt cfl, & 3 40w 2700k CFLs. (3rd one installed in the blank spot)
I plan to add reflectant to the ceiling. Its a WIP.
Ive been moving the fan and adjusting the door depending on what the door tells me. With the door shut and the fan near the lights it gets over 100* in there. I have the door slightly open now with the fan nearer to the ground blowing at the wall and i seem to be around 82* but only about 33% humidity. I filled the germination tray with water with the heat mat under it hoping to add a little humidity. What do you all do to increase humidity?
Would the DWC setup add ambient humidity? Or is that all trapped mostly in the container? I figured those clay pellets would likely breathe pretty good and would probly add humidity.
Nice setup, a bucket of water will do it. since your temp is already in the 80's (and above) the water will start to evaporate.
I actually have to run de-humidifiers through the winter to keep the humidity down.
