Been looking around here, and around Google, at some literature concerning the crossing of chilli peppers.

So I was wondering where you guys get your info from, or have recorded your wisdom?

Just want to make sure I don't miss out on any important or interesting stuff!

Not my wisdom, as I am a total noob at crossing , but just my way of thinking.

Hundreds of years ago peppers were found in the Americas and exported to Africa and Asia.
If you look at how different they developed in isolation on different continents you can see that pepper DNA is a ever changing thing .

The C.Chinense from Africa and Asia is totally different from those in the Americas, despite their mutual ancestry.

I believe your strongest plants and peppers will come from reuniting the DNA from different continents.

My personal cross, Piquant from Africa and Lemon drop from South America.
