I can relate with the Indiana weather too! Add a tree with BLS right next to my patio, dropping leaves everywhere, herbicide contamination, a starling with a taste for my seedlings (of all my different kinds of plants), and a chipmunk digging around, and that's my story for the year already. Will I have anything left?
 
If a rough start effects heat, these guys will be 2 Million Scoville. Ha. Maybe I can find someone willing to eat one on a YouTube challenge.
