plant Was labeled a reaper. Bought before flowering. Greatly disappointed

I purchased this 'Carolina Reaper' Pepper plant from Superstore about a month ago, it's been flowering like crazy and has 9 peppers already.
 
Today, I decided to look at the reaper plants on google to get an idea of it's growth, coloring etc.
 
Well, turns out, this doesn't hold the shape, form or color of the Carolina Reaper, it resembles more of a Jalapeno or banana pepper. See pictures attached.
 
Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
 
EDIT: The larger pepper in the picture right now is around 3" long and about 3/4" diameter

Looks like a Xalapeño.

I will grab a few more pictures when it stops raining. I take it a Xalepeno is a cross breed?

Jalepeno or Serrano maybe? I would guess either.

I picked off the biggest pepper to taste test it. After about 30 seconds I finally had just a hint of hotness that I wouldn't even consider hot. I will give the smaller peppers another month or two and see if they change color and/or mature more.

So this is changing to red now. I looked at some Serrano peppers, which look longer and more narrow, which these are more bulky in size.

that`s not a jalapeno or serrano. they don`t look like the ones i have grown now and in the past. it looks like bulgarian carrot pepper but your heat doesn't match.

Thanks for the reply. When I taste tested, maybe it was too young for heat? I will give this pepper another week and taste test, and will report back with the results of my findings.

Hmm. So I'm looking at Bulgarian Carrot Peppers, and they don't seem that have that little horn at the end of the pepper.
 
This one was turning from the vibrant orange to a red.
 
As well, I cut it from the plant and ate it, I also took pictures which I will attach on the next post. I think this one is a dud.
 
-The flavor was sweet and fruity as soon as I bit into it.
-No heat.
-Skin was thick walled and chewy.

This is a tasty pepper to say the least, although it isn't a hot pepper. 
 
Also in the picture you can see tiny black seeds on the upper inner part of the pepper.
