Well, just got off the phone with Mary Jane at Sunbelt. WE WON 2 SCOVIES!!!!! :D

We got FIRST PLACE for best wing sauce and third place for flat art for the #1 label.

Well, looks like we're on the radar now!


Ahh, our motto "Future rulers of Earth" has begun :)
 
The #2 took the prize. We knew better than to send the mild stuff to the judges. Man, it's a very happy place here at Defcon HQ tonight. :D
 
Congratulations on your win! Now you need to go to Albuquerque to cash in and garner some expousure to some of the big distributors. In our application for the fiery food show we were told the show has moved from downtown out to the casino. Should be a blast. We love that New Mexican cuisine green chile everything.

We are going to New Mexico as well. So hope to see ya all there. Did not send our sauces to the competition because I missed the deadline :D
 
I'd like to thank all of you for the kind words and wishes. Man oh man, I've been pondering this whole thing for a couple days now...It's somewhat overwhelming. I thought maybe we'd get a possible honorable mention from the Scovie people, but this is just incredible. Looks like I'll be seeing a bunch of you in New Mexico in March, can't wait to put faces on the screen-names. :D

Thanks Chuk, maybe I'll see you in New Mexico in March. We're actually contemplating getting a booth this year. The only dilemma we seem to be having is in the logistics of getting the product there, not to mention all of the show supplies. Either way, I can't wait to meet all you guys. First round is on me! :beer:
