Webbing in my pepper flakes

I've noticed in some of my pepper flakes, there is some webbing. Like
from a spider. I can't see a bug, but there must be one in there. I don't
seem to have that problem with the fine powders. Anyone know what it
is?

It sounds like moths to me…it happened once last year in a couple of jars I had. I threw it away because it wasn't worth it to have anyone to get sick. I more than made up for it this year!!

Yes I do have a problem with little moths flying around in my den. There is a door that opens
to the garage and a few fly in sometimes. I started having this problem when I was storing
bird seed in the garage. I threw away the flakes with the webbing...Thanks

Those Mediterranean Flour Moths are real annoying. I've had bags of flour that were real tightly fastened with twist ties and they still found a way in.
