Weird Growth Habit for Aji Pineapple

Hi All ,

i have 3 aji pineapple seedlings and they have all got this distorted twisted growth habit. Any ideas as to why.

looks almost like something was limiting its growth upward and then it was moved into an open spot and it started upward again.

Had a plant that did the same with some leaves, I just let it do his thing and it looks normal now

looks like too much fertiliser to me. What have you been feeding them?

The outer leaves look a bit tinged, could be chemical...

Were your seeds out of a packet or stripped out of the same chilli?

Thanks for the replies.

The seeds came out of a packet. I have got bout 40 different varieties growing in same conditions. The Aji pineapple is the only one with this growth habit.

Maybe something with the seeds. I have just got s few more shot, so will see if they do similar.
