That "Dorset" looks as though it could be the real deal, the 7-Pot looks like a Scorpion??

Man that does suck, as do Medusa's, mine didn't have ANY heat AT ALL!
Can i ask where you got the seeds from?
 
Hey shay that sucks,,,those are the darkest reds i`ve seen grown.I`ve got seeds to all but the madusa.If you want to hit me with a pm and bet I can help you with seeds. Don`t buy from them again. Rich
 
I had a few issues with seeds this year and by no means did the sellers charge me too much or not try to fix the problem.

I also had a problem with germination and I never have that problem!!

hippyseeds went out of his way to get me seeds when he saw my post saying I was in trouble .

my seeds were from various places but as you all can see I am not sure what I have ...
 
I'm beginning to become a bit less forgiving when this happens. I know people make mistakes and to err is human but this isn't rocket science. Place seed in packet, label packet, seal packet. Not a lot of chances for things to go wrong.

How can you know it was just mislabeled and not a cross that was labeled correctly? This is my first year and I will probably not trade for seeds to avoid this type of problem. Just seems far too common.
 
The medusa is an ornamental with no heat. Now I would like to see it crossed with a super hot but breed to keep the upward pointing pods and shape.
 
millworkman if you're looking for super hots that grow upright I can help you out--I think.

Some of the Naga Morich seeds I planted this year produced pods that grew upright. When they get large enough they start hanging. They look like the real deal. Not sure about the heat as I haven't had a ripe one to try yet. Let me know if you want some seeds as I have isolated several pods with tulle.

last year I grew nagas and they were not orange and had a different shape than the ones I have this year.

I did get a cross from hippy that he called a super pusa and they are growing like mad and have alot more heat than the standard super chili that I usally grow.

I am dissapointed that I can not save seeds or trade as I really have no idea what I have , other than they are all really really hot!!
 
sorry to hear about your mislabeled seeds, I guess it happens to everyone & it also happens with small plants.
I've found 2 chile strains that were mislabeled & I like'em, never would of bought them otherwise until now.
no one wants mislabel's but i'll accept 1-2 out of 10 for human error, I wont like it but wont dwell on it either.

try orange thais, they're not super hots though but still HOT, I think places label them as "very hot" ?
 
Yes I think you mite like Orange Thai Chili, funny here they say there not heat. I'd put the ones I bought here at a 4/10 with great taste. The ones I got here are 6 inch. But I'ed put jalapenos store bought in Canada at 5/10.

Eat ten Orange Thais in a row for alittle more heat there great.
