Hello all, I went to my parents house, and these little slender black bugs seem to be sucking the juice out of her tomato plants. They haven't touched my pepper plants at all which are about 20 feet away. Any idea what these are and how to kill them so she doesn't lose all her tomatoes?
I can't see them too clearly, but am going to guess they are eggs - thrips will lay eggs in the holes they make in the leaves. I've done some further reading now, and find most recommend use of a pesticide.
