What is problem with my pepper.

Hello there.
I want to warn Im not very good in speaking English.
My problem is my pepper Jamaican Red Hot bending (I do not know how to properly bend or curve or bow) foliage.
I shot a short video with my problem (sorry about qualyti).
I use:
Hydroponic system DWC.
Gas discharge lamp 400w (cooltube)  15/9 hours
Water 960-1000 ppm 5,7-6 ph
Fertilizer Valagro
N 88
P 53,8979

K 153,9925
Ca 150,0853
Mg 39,9408
S 55,5461
B 0,69
Fe 2,7992
Mn 0,84
Zn 0,83
Cu 0,234
Mo 0,0435

In what may be the problem?

I had similar symptoms on a couple plants in my recirculating dutch bucket system.

I believe it ended up being due to having my EC too high. Despite the leaf curl the plants kept growing vigorously but flowers kept aborting until I lowered the EC. I'll have to go back and see if I can find what my EC measurements were at the time.

Do the leaves always stay curled down or does it tend to happen toward the end of the day? Do they perk up when the light first comes on? Also can you try and get a picture since it's a bit hard to see on youtube.

It's hard to tell. You posted that your ppm is 960-1000, since my meter uses EC instead of PPM that's what I'm used to dealing with so I found a calculator to convert that. 960ppm is ~1.37 EC & 1000ppm is 1.43 EC. When I was running into problems my EC was around 1.7 & a lot of more experienced growers suggested keeping it closer to 1.0, saying it could cause leaf curl & flower abortion at 1.5 or above.

One of our more experienced hydro growers, Willard, I believe keeps his really low around 500ppm which is .78 EC. Hopefully he'll pop up with some advice for you.

In the meantime I'd say try lowering your EC to around 0.8-1.0 (500-700ppm) & give it a few days to see if it looks happier. I ended up actually dumping my reservoir & feeding straight pH balanced water with no nutrients for a couple weeks until my plants started looking hungry again & then changed my EC to right at 1.0. Plants exploded & the flowers stopped dropping & they quit curling.

I gotta get back to work for a few hours but I'll check back in this evening. Good luck with your problem and welcome to THP!

Thanks you.
I am lowered ppm to 790. In the morning I'll buy water, and let down to 400-500 ppm. Today they have age of 1 month.
And.... Thanks for the quick answers  :)

Maybe my problem is an overabundance of light? I have 70 cm to tops of plants.
I have ovarys on both plants. Is this normal?

Hey evolka, everything is looking great! Yes the flower buds are normal, on pepper plants the buds form where the branches split.

Do you still have problem with leaf curl or have they grown out of it? The plants look very healthy.

If it is only in the evening, I personally wouldn't be that worried.  My plants do the same thing when they've had a good dose of light throughout the day.  I always take it for them being "tired".  But they always bounce back in the morning through the afternoon.

My in-ground tomato plants do that as well, and it isn't just the leaves but more so the entire branch.... some curl under, some bend upwards and its almodt exactly on schedule with the sun setting but they're back to normal as the sun rises....
