water What is the best type of water to use for the pepper plants/seedlings?

Spring water when available would probably be the best option. I've always watered all my veggies with tap water and never noticed any negative effects...

I use distilled water or RO for the seedling phase. I grow hydroponics. In this way all the nutrients in the water are the added ones, being fully available to the plants at a low EC.
I would say the rainwater it is the best choice where there is the possibility to collect it.

i fill up bottles of tap water some days before using the water so the water is in room temp and wont shock the roots from to cold water.

But it probably depends on where you live about what water to use, rainwater is probably the best.

Perhaps he meant to drink the good vodka, and pour the Russian in the dirt.

I know we're not supposed to get political here, so I'm sorry for that :(

But yeah, I use tap water for my indoor tent plants too but let it sit for 48 hours before using it. It's very high pH (8.4) but after it sits for 48 hours it drops a full pH point. It's good enough without adjustments.
