What should I do?

Is been a cold rainy summer here and my bhut is behind. It has more growth below the fork than above. It's as wide as it is high and low branchs are hanging over the pot. Do most pods come above the fork and should I pinch the leaves and branches below? I'm looking to get the most pods possible.
