What to do?

Hiya Pepper Heads ,

I just got my last order of fresh peppers from CC Nurseries yesterday. Most the time I prefer to cook with my peppers. Add them to recipes. I now have a big stash of frozen peppers and want to do something different with a few .

I don't want to make a sauce. I'm thinking about something with peppers , either whole or cut into strips. Some garlic cloves and some carrot chunks. Maybe some allspice berries for flavor because I dislike dill.... Put that with some cider vinegar.

How I'd like to use it is pull out a pepper or carrot to eat with my BBQ. And maybe use a little of the juice on greens after I cook them. If the vinegar get flavored up nice .

Any thoughts would be great ... add salt ? Slice the peppers up into sections or leave whole? Mix the two types of peppers ? Or keep them on their own ? And if sliced up would you add the seeds ?

I have Bhunt Jolokia and Fatalii

make some Texas Toothpicks with a few of them...

peppers sliced lenghtwise into 1/4" strips...tempura battered and deep fat fried...

if you are looking to eat straight peppers:
pepper rings (like onion rings but better)
poppers with the pods that are big enough (either bacon wrapped or battered)
roast them over coals (wrap in aluminum foil and roast on hot coals until you feel they are ready)
things with peppers:
saute them with onions and garlic and top most anything like sausages, steaks, fish etc.
make a super spicy marinade for your meat of choice
stuff a chicken with chopped up peppers & crushed garlic
dry some, and make a spicy dry rub
pickle them
give the peppers a rough chop put in a bowl with mushrooms & steak, add your favorite BBQ sauce, marinate overnight, grill everything
after re-reading your original post, i think i may have missed the topic, but im not going to erase my post because maybe it will help you out in teh future
