What would you do in this situation?

I'd let it go...move on...and keep on keeping on with my belief in generosity
im with Gnomie

but i would also not send him anything again or ask for anything again from the person,i know im well known on here for my Generosity and im not changing, but you cant let people wipe there dirty shoes on you as if your a door mat, i know the guy agreed to do it and didnt so the situation is a little different but the concept of giving is still the same, when you do a kindness for someone you always do yourself a favor if you understand that when you give your doing the best that you can do, it should never hinge upon the abilty of the reciever to recieve or recipricate

dont stop is my best piece of advice, i have given to people i have never heard from again and it doesnt concern me because in some way i have effected there life with some kind of blessing and thats good enough for me

thanks your friend Joe

No Joe, I haven't let this turn me off on giving things away. I give out seeds and pods every week. I don't care that he took them or whatever. I only care that he said he would do the review several times and then he didn't. I just really wanted at least an explanation or something

I would only send those precious babies to people who are on THP and posting here all the time. You already know who they are...

write it off as "doo-doo occurs" if you don't hear or see something in a couple more weeks.

A couple years ago, I sent a box of sauces to a reviewer.  The first box arrived to the reviewer in a USPS plastic garbage bag with all bottles completely shattered (winter shipping= frozen bottles).  Sent out another box of sauces and I did get a confirmation they were received.....never did get a review....good, bad or otherwise.....

That would seriously piss me off, but what you gonna do?
If you are reviewing someone's product, and are lucky enough that they feel you are a competent reviewer, you can at least be respectful and professional.
