Weird is good! There are soooo many to chose from and I don't have a very long history of growing superhots I get kinda carried away with the "let's try this" itus. Hell, for the longest time my idea of hot was a hab. I do grow a large portion for general use for everyday dishes and uses. That reminds me. I left off a nice pepper I'm overwintering and seeding also. I call it my "Wally World Special". The seeds come from the 3"-4" long, 1" wide tapered sweet peppers you buy in either a plastic bag or clear plastic container at places like Wal-Mart or my local Kroger Dillons stores. They are red, orange, and yellow. I never could find them in seed catalogs so I've saved them from the ones we use. Germinate good. And they grow nice. The only problem with the peppers themselves is they don't often make it into the house from the garden!
I get pissed off each year because I have friends who have mondo tomato plants which put out gobs of fruit and mine are piddling along. I have good ground, light and they are on an irrigation system. I keep after them though. Indeed, peppers and tomatoes. Home made salsa can't be beat. I want to try some of the recipes on this site this year............
