Whats the difference?

What is the difference between MH lights and fluorescent lights? specifically a 2' 4 bulb fluorescent T5 with 2 warm bulbs and 2 cool bulbs.

But in all honesty have a search, either on this forum or on google. There is sooooo much information about different lights out there it is amazing. Fluros are going to be not nearly as efficient as HIDs which are Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium.

Additional, the power. 52w t5 ho fluro x 4 != 400w HPS MH.

Different gasses usually, which influences spectrum and light shape, penetration, etc.

However, you will find that a 200w light fixture over a wide space will cultivate peppers pretty efficiently.
