Soo I was at home depot lookin for the infamous worlds hottest habanero plant but with no luck but came acoss a plant with these on it just plucked one off and bite a little pc off to see if they even had any heat ...not at first

but then I felt some nothing to hot but a little soo I went back and plucked three more for seeds and the pot just said peppers?

It could be one of MANY different types. I wouldn't be holding my breath on a positive ID.

I agree with megahot. I have the thai hot peppers and thats what the pods look like when ripe.

I am going to bring you some prik kee noo when I come out tomorrow, try comparing with them, basically the same as "thai hot", but hotter in my opinion.

Those look to big to be the Thai Hot I am thinking of. How big was the plant and were the leaves really tiny?

the plant was about 2ft tall about 1.5 ft wide the leaves are tiny.

My Home Depots only have crap Bonnie peppers, I've checked two different stores now, and nothing even remotely interesting there at all.

I'm guessing these are contract-grown locally (in Homestead), and our local grower is just growing the mainstream stuff.
