What's up with pot?

Hi everyone, i did some googling and found out that the 7-pot means the 7 pots of soup thing. 
 
I'm curious of the origins of this description, and are there 1-6 pots ratings as well? Is 7 pot the hottest?

It's just a name letting you know that it isn't a pepper to take lightly.

In the Caribbean there is a dish called pepperpot (a soup/stew). There are various takes on it (Guyanese, Trinidadian, Bayan)...
 
The name is folklore... as in "This pepper is so hot it will heat 7 pots!"
