The stop and shop in my town has a very unreliable pepper section. You see jalapenos, cubanelles, and bells all the time but other than that it's usually a grab bag of old, rotting pods and stuff I'm not too interested in.
One day around November 2010 or so I see something catch my eye that I'd never seen before. It was a big pile of fresh choco habs! Never had one before so I grabbed a couple dozen and went home super excited. Ate a bunch, had a good burn, dried some, and saved the seeds. Couldn't have been happier since my harvest that year was abysmal (I was just learning).
