indoor When do indoor plants stop producing pods?

With indoor plants, we artificially control the season with the lighting and temps. So - when do the plants stop producing pods? Is there some genetic or physical limit to the length of time that a Chile plant can produce pods for, or a similar limit on the number of pods that if can produce?

5 Gallon Bucket - Good Soil - Good Nutes (1/4 strength every other watering) - Good 7.1 PH Non-Chlorinated Spring water - sitting under 20,000 lumens (4 Blub T-5) 17 hours a day. It is growing well and the internodal spacing is phenomenal.

The potting soil I bought has a very generic ingredients label: This product is regionally formulated from organic materials (derived from aged forest products) sphangum peat moss and perlite.

My Apartment is usually in the low to mid 70s(F). Right under the light, the temps are probably somewhere between 5 to 10 f higher.
