My favorite use for tabasco is to use it in place of vinegar when poaching eggs. I used to really like tabasco & eggs...but el yucateco is now my favorite sauce for eggs.

Thin vinegary sauces? They can be used to show-off to those whom have absolutely no idea just what hot really is.

Of course, sometimes it will backfire... The Oh shit that's vinegary face can be mistook for a It's hot and I'm having troubles face...
