Chile Juju Feb 4, 2012 #3 Generally, I get my weather from the sky! ar ar ar But seriously, I check out Accuweather, then NOAA, then do my own calculations... Like, I always start sneezing before it snows...or if my knees hurt, it's probably going to be windy. I'm a walking barometer!!!!!

HH81Betterhalf Feb 4, 2012 #8 Channel 5 news then make it 10x worse then what they say. Closest estimate is weatherchannel.com. Most of the time I just look out the window that's the most accurate!

Chile Juju Feb 4, 2012 #9 We're in a doppler shadow here, so it rarely lines up with what's actually happening. Anyone have any cool weather predictors? Like...when all cows hang out under the single tree in the field, it's supposed to rain soon.

PaulG eXtreme Feb 8, 2012 #18 I go here first for a point forecast - you can back up the url and click on a map for your neighborhood. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=45.52895978871845&lon=-122.86354064941406&site=pqr&smap=1&marine=0&unit=0&lg=en Then I go here for the hourly forecast: http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=45.52896&lon=-122.86354&unit=0&lg=english&FcstType=graphical Its the national weather service. It looks to me like just about everything else gets their data from them and packages it differently.
