Its a huge cayenne type. I heard of a 38cm pepper last season!

It's just the size. I grew some (potawie got me the seeds...thanks again dude!) last year. They are just cool looking, not great in taste.

Yeah I can second that, it's not taste or heat that makes them special. It might be the same pepper as Joes Long or Pinocchios nose.
 
We promoted them in as part of our 2006 Growing Competition to see who could grow the longest (the winner was 31cm).

They are a nice looking pod/plant but the pods are rather bland and have little to no heat. It was great fun though!!

This Years comp is to see who can grow the biggest Jalapeno (in case you have missed it). Its free to enter, is supposed to be a bit of fun and as always the prizes and Trophy wil be funded by Naga Snakebite sauce sales ;)

Hello mate,

Im very well but the day job is keeping me very busy at the moment at the expence of chilli related activities. I will be finally planting this years crop this weekend though.
