white fuzzy scale???

what is this and how do you recommend i get rid of it. btw, it is not aphids, it's like a white fuzzy scale sort of thing that i can just wipe off. what is causing this? this is the first time i have come across this and it is only on this one plant. thank you.

Almost looks like Mealybugs to me, my ficus used to get them.

LOL! those are WHITE FLIES!!!!!! Spray em with Neem or Cedar oil mixed with some dish soap or dog shampoo....

Looks like mealy bugs.....I was just diagnosed by the local office....spray dish soap and water and veggie oil ......once a week for three weeks....one qt water....one tbl each spoon off the others....it did work .....spray under leaves of course.... Search for my pics to verify ......called " help" by trini
