Wicked Mike's 2017: Enter the Dragon

Hey hey!

Working on getting an inventory of my plants and reorganizing things so I can find them. Current count for one-gallon and larger material is somewhere around nine hundred or so, not counting all the new stuff coming up in fours (not to mention all the nonpepper stuff).Updates to come as I get my feet under me.

In the meanwhile, it occurs to me that not everyone is on Facebook. In addition to last year's crosses, I'm working on a few new things:

7 Pot Burgundgum

7 Pot Leopard

Yaki White

Biquinho, Sweet Yellow

Naga Rex

Emperor Scorpion

And a few things I don't have pictures of at the moment.

+1 nice crosses! Thanks for sharing!

Can you detail a bit the Yaki White?
The Sweet Yellow Biquinho is interesting too, I had some Chupetinho Red (and I am not sure if there is only a matter of name with the Chupetinho and Biquinho...), if this is as prolific as the Chupetinho (and I suppose it is, looking at the picture), my imagination start to work thinking about stuff you can made with the peppers.

Looks great!  Go Emperor Scorpion!  What a tail...

It's a Brown Moruga Cross, and hotter than Hades.

Those crosses look really cool.

I really like the pod shape of the Jenna

It's still throwing off a lot of variation in terms of the shape and size of the pods. Some of the first ones were over three inches in length. Pretty big for a Primo  :fireball:

Yaki Brown x Bhut Jolokia White. Will probably be backcrossing it with the Yaki Brown in an effort to get the higher yield I've always seen from my YB plants, assuming that's genetic and not cultural.

Chupetinho = Biquinho, same thing. This one is quite prolific and has a very pleasant flavor, but no heat whatsoever.

Hi Mike. You definitely have some really cool NEW projects going.Good to see you have a glog this year. The best of luck to you on the season.

Okay, so it's taken forever to find the time, but here's an update:

I'm doing more plant shows and speaking engagements than ever. Next month's issue of Edible South Florida magazine will be pepper-themed; they were out for an interview/photo shoot a few days ago. Growing all kinds of exotic, fascinating nonpepper stuff, but let's face it, this isn't "theamazingtomato.com"

Holy mackerel! Now that's a list, Mike! Always a great selection. Congratulations on the interview and photo shoot. How would one snag a copy of that magazine? I will definitely be following along.

Thanks! You can be sure I'll be snagging a few copies. It's an outstanding magazine, peppers aside.

I'm going to show my wife your list next time she complains about my 30 or so plants..

Seriously though, good luck with your grow. Out of curiosity what do you do with all those chillies???

While you're at it, tell her that I leave the toilet seat up.

As for what I do with them...a fairly brisk mail-order business.
